Book a Test Ride — ride one before you decide

Tell us your area and we will connect you to your nearest Omaha dealer. Ride it on your own route, at the hour you actually travel, with a pillion if you usually carry one. No paperwork, no obligation, and nothing to pay for the ride.

Different question

I want to sell them

Looking for an Omaha dealership rather than a scooter? That is a separate conversation, and it starts further down this page.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them involve paperwork

Omaha's dealer network is expanding across the country, so rather than a directory that goes stale the day a dealer moves, we connect you directly. Send one message with your city and we take it from there.

1

Tell us your area

Send us a WhatsApp message or call. We need your city or locality, and which model you are curious about if you already have one in mind — that is genuinely all it takes.

2

We connect you to the nearest dealer

Someone from our team calls you back with the closest showroom to you, and coordinates a time that works. If a dealer has not opened in your area yet, we will tell you straight rather than send you on a long drive.

3

Ride it on your own route

Not the smooth stretch outside the showroom. Take it on the road you actually use, at the hour you actually travel, with a pillion if you usually carry one.

One honest note about coverage. We are not going to show you a map with pins in cities where we have no dealer yet. The network is genuinely expanding, and there are districts where the nearest showroom is still some distance away. Tell us where you are and we will give you the real answer — including when the answer is "not yet, but here is where we are closest."

Make the ride count

Six things worth checking while you have it

Most people ride for two minutes on a flat road outside the showroom and learn almost nothing. These are the checks that actually tell you whether the scooter suits your life.

Ride your worst road, not the best one

Take it on the stretch of your commute you dislike most — the broken section, the climb, the narrow lane. That is where a scooter either works for you or does not.

Take a pillion if you usually carry one

A scooter that feels lively solo can feel very different with a second person and a bag of shopping. Test the version of the ride you will actually do.

Try parking it where you park

Width and weight matter more than most buyers expect. If your lane is narrow or your parking is tight, find that out now rather than on day three.

Ask them to switch the headlamp on

If you ride early or late, or through winter fog, lighting is a safety specification rather than a styling one. See it working before you decide.

Ask which battery suits your kilometres

Every model comes with lead-acid and lithium options. Tell the dealer your actual daily distance and parking situation, and ask them to recommend — the honest answer depends on your usage, not on what is in stock.

Get the after-sales answers in writing

Warranty terms, service intervals, battery replacement cost and lead time. A good dealer will have no problem documenting these — and if one hesitates, that itself is useful information.

Pick what you want to try

Open any model for full specifications, then name it in your WhatsApp message so the dealer has it ready. Every model comes with both lead-acid and lithium battery options.

Before you go

What to bring, and what you do not need

No licence required

Most Omaha models are slow-speed electric vehicles, which under current Motor Vehicle rules need no driving licence, registration or insurance. You do not need a licence to test ride one.

Bring a helmet if you have one

Dealers usually have one, but bringing your own is more comfortable and means you are not waiting.

Bring the person who will ride pillion

If someone else regularly rides with you, bring them. Their comfort is half the decision and it is easy to forget.

Know your daily distance

Roughly how many kilometres you cover in a day, and where you park at night. Those two answers shape which model and which battery suits you.

A different question

Want to sell Omaha, not just ride one?

If you landed here looking for a dealership rather than a test ride, this is the section you want. Omaha is a unit of JVG Electric Private Limited, headquartered in Hisar, Haryana, with manufacturing in Haryana and West Bengal — which means stock, spares, training and warranty resolution all run on domestic chains rather than an import cycle.

₹5–6 lakh

Entry investment

Among the lowest entry points in the Indian EV dealer market.

Two revenue lines

Scooters and loaders

Personal scooties plus 300–350 kg commercial loaders — two different buyers from one showroom.

No claim files

Simple to sell

Slow-speed models carry no subsidy paperwork, no portal and no waiting on policy notifications. Customer pays, takes delivery, rides out.

FAQs

Test rides — your questions, answered

1. Is the test ride free?
Yes. There is nothing to pay for a test ride and no obligation to buy afterwards. Arrangements are made through the authorised dealer nearest you.
2. Do I need a driving licence to test ride an Omaha?
No. Most Omaha models are built as slow-speed electric vehicles, which under current Motor Vehicle rules do not require a driving licence, registration certificate or insurance. That applies to the test ride as much as to ownership.
3. How do I find my nearest Omaha dealer?
Send us your city and locality on WhatsApp, or call +91 99961 17882, and we will tell you the closest showroom to you. The network is expanding, so we confirm this directly rather than publishing a list that goes out of date.
4. What if there is no dealer in my city yet?
We will say so rather than send you on a long drive. We can tell you where the nearest showroom currently is, and let you know when one opens closer to you. If you are in a town with no dealer and you have a business interest, that is also worth a conversation — several territories are currently open.
5. How long does a test ride take?
Long enough to be useful. Ask for enough time to ride your own route rather than a loop of the showroom car park — including any climb, rough patch or narrow lane you deal with daily. That is the only way to learn anything from it.
6. Can I try more than one model?
Usually yes, subject to what that dealer has in stock on the day. Mention the models you want to try in your message, so they can have them ready rather than you finding out on arrival.
7. Can I test ride a commercial loader with a real load?
Ask for exactly that. For the Loader 2 Tyre and Loader 3 Tyre, a demonstration with your actual load on your actual route tells you far more than a specification sheet or an empty run. Mention it in your message so the dealer can arrange it properly.
8. Will someone pressure me to buy on the day?
A test ride is a test ride. Take the time you need, ask for the warranty and service terms in writing, and go home and think about it. If a slow-speed Omaha is the wrong product for your riding — for example if you regularly run on highways — an honest dealer will tell you that too.
9. I want a dealership, not a test ride. Where do I start?
The dealership section on this page has the details — entry investment is approximately ₹5 to 6 lakh, among the lowest in the Indian EV dealer market. Call +91 99961 17882 or use the dealership registration page to discuss available territories.
